About Me
Hello, I’m Bhavya Sonawala, and I am proud to be at the helm of Samaasa Capital, a family fund driven by a passion for equity investments.
My journey into the world of equities began at a young age. Many of our dining table conversations revolved around stocks, companies, and the intricate workings of the financial markets. It was during these years that I developed a deep-seated interest in the world of finance.
My curiosity of the world of equities made me to pursue the CFA Level 1 qualification. Without hesitation, I dived headfirst into the dynamic world of the financial markets, started researching companies, understanding how markets work, what are fundamentals and more about long term investing
My early years as an investor were marked by experimentation, learning through inevitable mistakes, and though this I learnt what kind of an investor I am.
It was during this period that I had the opportunity to explore my own investment style and principles.

'Samaasa' is derived from samāsa in Sanskrit, which means combing many words to express a single meaning. Similarly, its intended to convey a sense of unity or combination of thoughts and beliefs to form investment strategies that succeed.
